【B.B.B】英國老牌量產煙斗製造廠出品，石楠木製四方八角直式煙斗。

起源於1847年1876註冊為"Blumfeld Best Briar"公司，簡稱"B.B.B"。

燃燒室與斗缽口沒燒蝕碳化崩塌情形，斗嘴手工打磨~烏黑晶亮沒咬痕。

斗長 : 14.0，   斗高 : 4.3，   斗寬 : 3.9，   斗口 : 2.0 公分。

此斗已整體手工打磨大翻新、染色、做膜完畢，外觀平整~鏡面效果優。

煙斗客全知道的老牌英式煙斗~品質值得信賴，價格超親民入手沒困難。

煙道頭段為4mm鑽孔，榫頭中段濾心處為3mm設定，斗嘴末端以2mm收尾。

BBB: " Best British Briar" is now a brand of the Cadogan Company (Oppenheimer group).

American rights to use the brand name were sold to Wally Frank in 1980.
Founder of the brand in 1847: Louis Blumfeld.

The oldest pipe brand name in the UK has been registered in 1876 (Blumfeld Best Briar)

Quote from a paper on BBB pipes by Jacques Cole:

“Probably one of the first filter pipes (paper filter) was the BBB "Sir Morell Mackenzie".

That this pipe was made before 1900 is shown by a letter dated August 27, 1891 from

Sir Morell Mackenzie regarding these models with longer mouthpieces.

The brand survived into the 1960s.”

Sir Morell Mackenzie (1837-1892) was a British physician, one of the pioneers

of laryngology in the United Kingdom. Nevertheless he failed to

diagnose the throat cancer of German Emperor Frederick III.

這品牌最早進來台灣~老斗客都知道，但是不是正式代理而是跑水貨滴。

老娘還記得在維也納西餐中場時...衝去晴光商場委託行取代購的煙斗。

1970年代台灣煙斗店很少，是要找代工的委託行...從香港代購回台滴。

那時能在台灣買到支現貨3B~或是Big Ben...是件令人非常開心的事情。

轉眼間老娘已白髮蒼蒼懷古到不行的年紀...見到年輕熟悉的廠牌煙斗~

叼上嘴角閉上眼...所有此生的經歷就像放電影，一幕幕全回到了眼前。

斗身上幾個小砂孔...就像小女孩臉上的小雀斑，一切都是那麼的祥和。

這支經歷過老娘人生的老煙斗(比老娘還老)，是非常值得~收藏的記憶。
