【ROSS ARUNDEL】英國名牌斗廠Sasieni的子品牌，老石楠木製造彎斗。

Sasieni稍有小砂孔即做成副廠牌發行，幾乎各大斗廠都遵循這種模式。

燃燒室與斗缽口沒燒蝕碳化崩塌情形，斗嘴手工打磨~烏黑晶亮沒咬痕。

斗長 : 14.0，   斗高 : 4.3，   斗寬 : 3.4，   斗口 : 1.9 公分。

此斗已整體手工打磨翻新、雙色染、做膜完畢，外表超亮麗媲美全新斗。

菸草容量適中為最常用尺碼，一斗菸草可享受30~45分鐘(視有無助燃網)。

煙道頭段為3mm鑽孔，榫頭中段濾心處為3mm設定，斗嘴末端以2mm收尾。

One may distingish three major periods in the Sasieni brand history:

  • The so called pre-transition period during which the family totaly owned the business.
  • The transition period from 1979 to 1986. The corporate has been bought
  • by Ian Chase and a group of South African investors.
  • The post-transition period from 1986 up to the present. At first the corporate has been
  • bought by James B. Russell and after him by Cadogan Investments Ltd (A. Oppenheimer & Co. Ltd).

In the context of the Sasieni/Dunhill trial and according to Stephan Smith:
"In an initial attempt to comply with US patent law, Sasieni moved the one blue dot to the side of the pipe. 
This unfortunately didn't do the trick, and only a few side dot Sasieni's were ever made,
which are now extremely rare and collectible."

Pre-transition period, 1919 - 1924. One dot on top of the stem

The stamping "Specialy Selected By.." indicates that the pipe was personally selected by Joel Sasieni.

The very rare Sasieni "Blue Bar" logo pipe is difficult to date.
According to a US Sasieni collector,
it would be from  the mid to late 1920's and could be a transition between 1 dot and 4 dots.

很好玩的是Sasieni副廠產品賣的比正廠好，歐美斗客不在意砂孔問題。

同樣原廠生產品質工序~副廠產品因為砂孔..價格就變得超級親民善意。

其實此斗用料超好只差在那幾個小砂孔，老娘已再度修飾得更加平整了。

【二千元整】細膩的手工斗工序翻新後...品質勝過原廠正品絕對超值。
