品牌由Viggo Nielsen於1950年創立，爾後數度轉手新東家經營此品牌。

燃燒室與斗缽口沒燒蝕碳化崩塌情形，斗嘴手工打磨~烏黑晶亮沒咬痕。

斗長 : 15.5， 斗高 : 5.4， 斗寬 : 4.4X5.0， 斗口 : 2.2公分V型。

此斗已整體手工打磨大翻新、染色、做膜完畢，外觀平滑~鏡面效果優。

斗體無任何破損保存得非常好，手工斗工法工序翻新處理後~完勝原廠。

煙道頭段為3mm鑽孔，榫頭中段濾心處為3mm設定，斗嘴末端以2mm收尾。

【BRITISH】英國早期手工煙斗工作室出品，石楠木製蘋果型彎式煙斗。

原廠資料已無處可尋，二戰前後時期~法國和英國這種煙斗工作室很多。

燃燒室與斗缽口沒燒蝕碳化崩塌情形，斗嘴手工打磨~烏黑晶亮沒咬痕。

斗長 : 14.5，   斗高 : 3.8，   斗寬 : 4.0，   斗口 : 2.0 公分。

此斗已整體手工打磨大翻新、染色、做膜完畢，斗身光滑~鏡面效果優。

屬於中型彎斗，一斗菸草可享受30~45分鐘(視有無助燃網和斗主技術)。

斗身小砂孔皆已全部重新填補，咖啡與金黃色對比雙色染...穩重大方。

煙道頭段為3mm鑽孔，榫頭中段濾心處為3mm設定，斗嘴末端以2mm收尾。

【YorkShire】美國商標法國廠生產，石楠木內崁海泡石牛頭犬型直斗。

由Gasparini美國廠或法國煙斗製造商生產的Sears，Roebock＆Co品牌。

海泡石內鍋完整度狀態超優沒有破損，斗嘴手工打磨~烏黑晶亮沒咬痕。

斗長 : 15.5，  斗高 : 3.4，  斗寬 : 4.5，  斗口 : 1.8 公分V型。

此斗已整體手工打磨大翻新、染色、做膜完畢，採用阿爾及利亞石楠木。

罕見的V型海泡石內鍋超可愛，狀似飛碟所以煙斗界又膩稱為"飛碟斗"。

煙道頭段為3mm鑽孔，榫頭中段濾心處為3mm設定，斗嘴末端以2mm收尾。

【VAUEN】德國老牌知名煙斗製造大廠出品，石楠木製噴砂型直式煙斗。

斗嘴採用P型斗嘴，翻新的非常漂亮~噴砂部分沒啥磨損~宛如全新煙斗。

燃燒室與斗缽口沒燒蝕碳化崩塌情形，斗嘴手工打磨~烏黑晶亮沒咬痕。

斗長 : 14.8，   斗高 : 4.9，   斗寬 : 3.6，   斗口 : 2.1 公分。

此斗已整體手工打磨大翻新、染色、做膜完畢，外觀亮麗~抽斗品質優。

日耳曼民族精密工業與嚴謹態度展現在煙斗工藝上~的確令人非常驚豔。

煙道鑽孔精準燃燒室厚薄均勻，細節收邊手工非常細膩~令人無所挑剔。

至於是否喜歡使用活性碳9mm濾心隨個人喜好，不過老娘本身不用濾心。

口腔菸不入肺..用了濾心淡化口感，所以老娘會採用9轉3回復3mm煙道。

有斗友說使用濾心入口煙氣較不熱~這問題有些可怕的後遺症隱藏其後。

用濾心降低入口熱氣是治標，燃燒室過熱問題仍然存在~(燙得拿不住)。

入口煙氣熱不外乎 : 1. 狂吸猛抽燃燒過旺，2. 菸草太鬆進氣量過大。

只靠濾心擋熱氣而斗缽卻過熱...再啥好木料都經不起過熱而燒蝕碳化。

只有抓住抽斗原理和節奏~才是正確的解決之道，不能只靠濾心擋熱氣。

再好的木料都經不起高溫的摧殘，這點...尤其是新斗友需要特別注意!

抽斗並不難...只要細心體會很快就能上手的，放鬆心情才能頭腦清醒。

老木料與新木料差別在密度和耐用度，老木料並非萬能的~只是較耐用。

令人懷念的早期老斗廠，雖然已吹熄燈號~只要有新東家仍可重起爐灶。

早期絕版老型號，與其他斗廠生產此型不同處在..使用了該廠P型斗嘴。

• This meerschaum pipe was crafted in 1892 two years after the Kapp brothers and
• Charles Peterson patented their system (see date letter chart of
• Dublin's Assay Office and Peterson's time line).
• The silver band identifies both "Peterson" and the parent company
• "Kapp Brothers" (stamped KAPP BRO).

During the "Patent era" (1875-1915) Peterson's pipes hadn't any Country of Manufacture stamped.

Despite worn hallmarks (see enlarged view) this pipe nevertheless may be dated.

The shield shape of the three escutcheons indicates a pre-1896 pipe.

The year letter can only be a "Z" making this pipe to reach back to 1895.

The shank/stem gap: one of Peterson's odd particularity.

The tenon is slightly tapered so even if the briar or the stem material shrinks or

expands the stem can still be inserted tightly.

This allows to safely remove and replace stem while pipe is hot.

The enlarged views display the tenon extension (the condensor).

In the early years, Peterson used horn condensors (this pipe) for their Deluxe and Premier series.

Sometime in the 1940's they changed to bakelite and finally to aluminum nowadays.

The silver hallmarks correspond to 1899 (see document).

The "2" after the word "Patent" indicates the second-highest

grade offered. This pipe from the Patent era shows no fills.

The first two escutcheon in Peterson's genuine silver hallmark are a Hibernia and a Harp.

The first mark on the band of this pipe is a Shamrock denoting a non silver metal, probably nickel.

These faux hallmarks cannot be of any help to date the pipe.

The "Irish Free State" mark was adopted in 1922 and replaced by "Eire" in 1937.

- The Irish Free State was formed on 15 January 1922.

- Eire was formed on 29 December 1937.

This unsmoked pipe should have been crafted in this period of time.

about 1945 (this pipe). Later (1947-49) it became

The origin of the brand reaches back to 1858 when Jean-Baptiste Choquin

in collaboration with his son-in-law Gustave Butz

created their first pipe in Metz (France).

Since 1951 Butz-Choquin is a brand of the Berrod-Regad group (Saint-Claude, France).

Jean Paul Berrod managed the company from 1969 to 2002 when he retired and sold the

corporate to Mr Fabien Gichon. Denis Blanc, allready owner of EWA,

took over the S.A. Berrod-Regad in 2006.

The white extension was formerly (19th century) made of a hollow Albatross bone (Radius).

該品牌已於1992年關閉工廠非常可惜，但好品質的該廠老斗~仍受歡迎。

燃燒室與斗缽口沒燒蝕碳化崩塌情形，斗嘴手工打磨~烏黑晶亮沒咬痕。

斗長 : 13.5，   斗高 : 5.1，   斗寬 : 4.4，   斗口 : 2.1 公分。

此斗已整體手工打磨大翻新、雙色染、做膜完畢，外觀美~鏡面效果優。

石楠木瘤非常細密~染色拋光後特別漂亮，斗身線條優美流暢握感絕佳。

在4月1日(老娘私房煙斗五九八)亦有一支同廠牌老斗，本已售出了.....

出貨前拋光檢查時發覺斗嘴末端有一髮絲裂紋，因為老眼昏花沒發覺下~

只好通知新主人放棄了。現已重新做好全新斗嘴，將擇日重新拍照上傳。

今天這支斗可檢查得很仔細，老花眼+近視+散光= 寫文章前得好好檢查。
