【Kaywoodie】美國知名煙斗製造大廠出品，石楠木~雕刻直式煙斗。
保存良好完整度優，已依手工斗工法工序整體大翻新完畢古拙有趣。
燃燒室與斗缽口沒燒蝕碳化崩塌，斗嘴手工打磨烏黑晶亮沒有咬痕。
斗長 : 13.5， 斗高 : 4.2， 斗寬 : 2.9， 斗口 : 1.9 公分。
屬中小斗，一斗菸草可享受30分鐘(視有無助燃網或斗主技術增減)。
煙道頭段3mm鑽孔，榫頭中段一體式冷凝器，斗嘴末端~以 2mm收尾。
斗身超輕盈；適合長時間叼斗不嘴酸，噴砂與亮面交錯充滿設計感。

Kaywoodie began as a line of pipes offered by KB&B (Kaufman Brothers & Bondy) in 1919 (see also Dinwoodie). Ultimately, KB&B changed its corporate name to "Kaywoodie". It became a brand of S. M. Frank & Co from March 1955.

The white logo has the shape of the Drinkless systeme (see dok) which equipped these pipes from 1924. This Shellcraft has a push tenon and was thus crafted prior to 1930.
No KB&B clover stamped on the shank.

Due to its "Drinkless" stamping this pipe is reported in the Kaywoodie section and not in
KB&B's.

▲ 05 should be the shape code (short shank billiard), and the 27 (1927) may be the production year. Push tenon design (pre-synchrostem) .

▲ "KBB" inside clover stamped on the shank was canceled in 1933.
The lack of "PAT. APP. FOR" stamping would indicate the synchrostem patent was allready granted (1932) when this pipe was crafted.
Thus this pipe may be dated rather precisely.
The clover stamp with the KBB initials on the shank indicates a pipe crafted in the old KB&B plant at Union City (NJ) prior to 1933.

那個時期的老石楠木還未被挖空，
樹齡一般都在30年起跳才挖出來做煙斗。
